Anthony Slaughter has lived and worked in Penarth for the past eight years. He works as a garden designer, is the chair of the community based environmental group Gwyrddio Penarth Greening and helps organise the Penarth Local Food Festival.

I have lived in Penarth for over a decade, during this time I have been involved, through Gwyrddio Penarth Greening, with a wide range of environmental and community initiatives that have clearly shown the public appetite for practical solutions to the problems we face. These problems are not unsolvable. There is an alternative.
